Hello, my name is Alexandra—though you can call me Alley.
I’m a Relational Somatic Counsellor, Meditation Facilitator, and Ceremonial Handpoke Tattoo Artist.
My work is rooted in lived experience, study, and a heartfelt devotion to supporting others within and through life's many layers.
For a long time I've been captivated by the human journey— its depth, subtlety, and creative potential. My path has included years of personal healing, psychedelic work, artistic exploration and studies in communication and contemplative practice, all of which inform the way I hold space for others.
My counselling style is thus shaped by both formal education and personal transformation. All of it together has established within me a capacity to sit with complexity, nuance and emotion, and to hold space with presence and compassion.
I offer a wide and welcoming container that makes space for the many elements of what it means to be human—supporting clients in integration, building resilience, strengthening the body-mind-spirit connection and navigating life’s inevitable waves with empowerment, embodiment, clarity and strength. My work is grounded in curiosity, sensitivity, and a deep reverence for the healing process and life itself.

Online intensive training with weekly classes, required reading and practice. I completed 100 hours of free meditation facilitation and coaching sessions for my community. Done largely with parents and their children, as well as the elderly.
Spiritual Bootcamp & Advanced Training through

2019 - 2021
Studying Non-Violent Communication, skilled communication, conflict resolution, the "Focusing" facilitation method, "Skilled Friends" communication, contemplation, devotion and yogic practices in weekly classes for most of the year within a group setting.
Therapeutic Counselling Diploma through Vancouver based
Orca Institute
November 2023 - January 2025
Online diploma where I completed 530+ hours of counselling skills courses, 40 hours of supervision and 200 hours of direct 1:1 online and in-person client counselling sessions for my practicum.
Relational Somatic Therapy Training through Opening to Grace
October 2024 - April 2025
Started with a prerequisite "playgroup" weekend workshop in March of 2024, which is when my somatic studies truly began. Later for the full training, I got to explore and practice this work within an amazing cohort of individuals during 8 months of learning and intensive in-person weekend immersions with study and practice required between weekend trainings. I have received a thorough education and embodied learning experience in the most up to date information on trauma resolution and somatic therapy by an experienced Somatic Psychotherapist with 35+ years in the field, who worked extensively with well known Somatic Trauma Therapist Peter Levine, among others.
